Our Commitment
We design and maintain Golden Ark Systems (goldenarksystems.org) and our operations platform ArkOS (arkos-one.vercel.app) to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines help make content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users — including those who use screen readers, keyboards-only, switch devices, voice control, or other assistive technologies.
Conformance Status
Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully meet the accessibility standard yet. We are actively working on the gaps listed below and are committed to a 90-day remediation window for any newly reported barrier rated as critical.
Measures We Take
- Accessibility is treated as a release blocker — new features must pass keyboard, screen reader, contrast, mobile, and WCAG 2.2 AA validation before they can ship.
- Component library built with semantic HTML5 landmarks, ARIA only where native semantics are insufficient, and visible focus states on every interactive control.
- Color contrast verified at minimum 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and non-text UI components.
- Forms include explicit labels, error identification, and programmatic descriptions for every field.
- Decorative imagery is hidden from assistive technology; meaningful imagery includes descriptive alternative text.
- Pages are designed to reflow at 200% zoom and 320 CSS pixels wide without loss of content or function.
- Touch targets meet a 44 × 44 CSS pixel minimum.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of:
- Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari
- NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android), and Narrator (Windows)
- Operating-system keyboard navigation, voice control, and switch input
The site is not designed for Internet Explorer.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are honest about these gaps and are actively remediating them:
- Embedded third-party tools (calendar booking, payment processors, analytics) — these may not match our accessibility level. We are evaluating accessible alternatives and contacting vendors.
- PDF and other downloadable documents — some older uploaded files do not yet include full structural tags. We are re-generating accessible versions.
- Complex data visualizations in the ArkOS analytics and dashboard modules — text summaries are being added.
- User-generated content — content uploaded by authenticated users may not meet the same standard.
Report an Accessibility Barrier
If you find a part of our site that is hard or impossible to use, we want to hear from you. We respond to all accessibility reports within 5 business days and will prioritize critical fixes within a 90-day window.
Please describe the issue, the page URL where you encountered it, the browser and assistive technology you were using, and what you expected to happen. Including this information helps us reproduce and fix the problem faster.

It applies to goldenarksystems.org and the ArkOS
dispatcher platform at arkos-one.vercel.app, including
all subpages owned and operated by Golden Ark Systems.
We comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and align our work with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and EN 301 549. If you believe you have not received a satisfactory response to your accessibility report, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division.
